Are you planning on carrying a 12 pack of cold beer? It looks as if that cooler is large enough to do so! Mmmm...beer. Mmmm...cold beer.
And some pretzels to go along with the beer would be nice too.
Exactly, with room for ice, and something to barbeque! And of course we'll figure out a way to strap some self-starting charcoal on to the bikes too!
Of course, we're not talking about carrying this extra stuff a long way. Hopefully, we hit the beer and pretzels store just a few miles before camp, and consume all we purchase that day, so that the only long term weight penalty is 10 oz.
Have you seen those BOB trailers? We have one. It's great for towing a big cooler, mini BBQ, and chairs. Great for picnics and tail-gate parties...might not be very practical for a x-country trip, but it would make your trip interesting!
